Senior Manager Accounting Advisory Services (m/w/d) Zurich or Geneva

Our client, who is one of the leading audit and advisory firms established in varied markets with a strong regional presence in Switzerland is looking for competitive candidates like you. In this exciting role, you would be working as a Senior Manager – Accounting Advisory Services (m/w/d) at Zurich or Geneva location.

• Take on the technical responsibility for advising your respective customers on the introduction and application of various accounting standards such as IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER, US GAAP or Code of Obligations
• Independently take responsibility for large projects and take care of the deployment and guidance of your project team
• Actively support CFOs or Group Accounting Heads in the interpretation on accounting and financial reporting issues
• Work on IPO Readiness Assessments and provide M&A support; you are also part of the team in the context of comfort letter projects for capital market transactions
• Analyze complex accounting-related issues, respond to technical inquiries and add value for our customers through your accounting expertise. Educate yourself independently in the area of the latest developments in order to maintain your knowledge advantage and to serve the customer with relevant news proactively
• Maintain existing customer relationships and continuously expand your network and actively support the team in acquiring new customers as well as accounting advisory services engagements

• Degree as a certified public accountant or local equivalent is an advantage
• Many years of practical experience in the BIG4 environment or in Group Accounting / Controlling of an international company
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or Swiss GAAP FER are essential. US GAAP knowledge is a plus
• Proficient English skills, French and German is a plus
