Lonza in Visp is looking for a Technical Sales Manager.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Transform a customer RfP (Request for Proposal) into a project winning proposal
  • Provide technical/operational expertise during the sales process
  • Actively participate in the sales process in teleconferences or meetings with customers on their or on a Lonza site
  • Providing timely and accurate estimates of time, cost and quality objectives for the defined scope of work and disclosing related opportunities and risks
  • Perform the cost evaluation in detail using different IT tools and taking advantage of your technical chemical synthesis and production knowledge
  • Close collaboration with Sales, Commercial Development and SMEs on the different sites

 

Key requirements:

  • Advanced chemical degree
  • Extensive experience in small molecules CDMO / Chemical-pharmaceutical industry (cGMPs, ISO standards)
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with various other company functions/stakeholders and customers    
  • Expertise in process evaluation and simulation
  • Experience in large scale commercial manufacturing (continuous and batch processes)
  • Requested languages: German and English (Fluency in English is a Must)
